A Look at the 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad Through a Different Lens

“And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” (Joel 2:30-31).

Back in 2008, waves of excitement rippled through the world of Bible prophecy enthusiasts with the introduction of the new “Blood Moon” theory. Speculation, ranging from the Rapture of the church to Christ’s Second Coming to the earth became rampant.

It all began when Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries discovered an extremely rare string of lunar and solar eclipses on NASA’S website and connected them to the Jewish calendar. Pastor Biltz quickly rose to notoriety by means of his interview on the popular Christian t.v. show “Prophecy in the News”, which was hosted by the late J.R. Church and Gary Stearman.

Four lunar eclipses (known as “Blood Moons” for their reddish color) occurred on God’s annual Feast Days of Passover and Sukkot (Day of atonement) in the years of 2014 and 2015. Two solar eclipses also took place during that same 12-month period, one on Nisan 1 (the Jewish New Year on the religious/sacred calendar), and the other on Tishri 1 (Rosh Hashanah/Feast of Trumpets, the Jewish New Year on the civil calendar).

This incredible phenomenon of four consecutive total lunar eclipses falling on Jewish Feast days, known as a “Biblical tetrad”, is quite rare. So rare, in fact, that it’s only happened seven other times since the time of Christ, and won’t happen again for another 567 years! (A.D. 2582-2583).

“In the 2014-15 Tetrad, the world will never again see such a magnificent, perfectly synchronized, and orderly alignment of heavenly signs. This Cosmic Countdown, so Divinely fashioned by our Creator, must assuredly tell us that He is literally screaming at us that we are approaching the Edge of (the Church Age) Time … “You will discover that the Biblical Blood Moon Tetrad is astoundingly Unprecedented and Unique.”

The following segment of this article, demarcated with quotation marks, has been borrowed from an excellent article entitled, “John Tng (7 Sep 2013) “The Day of the Lord is finally here!”

For purposes of his article, I’ve abridged and paraphrased portions of it. John Tng, the website administrator for FiveDoves.com, has written many other eye-opening, jaw-dropping, and groundbreaking articles.

“God foretold the Final Tetrad in the Bible! On the day of the first Pentecost, the Apostle Peter stood up and quoted the blood moon prophecy of the prophet Joel. There are only three scriptures in the Bible that contain the words ‘blood’ and ‘moon’, (Joel2:31; Acts 2:20; Rev.6:12).

Here’s how God placed it’s timing in Joel 2:31 and Acts 2:20:

Joel 2:31, “The sun [shall be turned] into darkness ,and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” – The phrase “shall be turned” in Strong’s Concordance is H2015.

Acts 2:20, “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and [notable] day of the Lord come.” – The word “notable” is Strong’s G2016.

No doubt the skeptics will jump in and say, “Wait a minute. But I thought the tetrad took place between between 2014 and 2015, not between 2015 and 2016? [ ..eyes rolling..]. The answer comes by taking a closer look at the G2016 entry in the Strong’s Concordance.

G2016 – epiphanes, from 2014 ; adj AV; notable, conspicuous, manifest, illustrious. – Did you notice that? G2016 is from 2014! It turns out G2016 is the adjective form of 2014. Can you see the timing of the blood moons as recorded in the Book of Joel and the Book of Acts matches Strong’s numbers with zero wriggle room! God inspired Dr. James Strong to order the Biblical words to align with the heavenly signs for us blessed end-time watchers.

The Blessed Hope:

We have seen how the blood moon tetrad of 2014-2015 is uncannily hidden in the two scriptures in Joel and Acts — both referring to the same heavenly event. The year 2015 is not even hidden in Joel 2:31 — it is recorded openly if you care to look it up in the Strong’s Concordance.

The year 2014 is thinly veiled in Acts 2:20 since the Greek word G2016 is really rooted in the Greek word G2014. So the start of the final tetrad in the year 2014 is referenced in the New Testament and the end of the final tetrad in the year 2015 is referenced in the Old Testament. How cool is our God!

What has been ascertained is the startling precision of the Bible in giving us the EXACT timing of the apocalyptic tetrad. But what about the Rapture, our blessed hope? Is it also hinted somewhere? You bet!

Dr. James Strong and colleagues basically clustered Biblical words that are similar (in terms of verb, noun, adjective) in their mammoth task of indexing. And so the Greek words from G2015 to G2017 are essentially derived from the root word G2014.

G2014 – epiphaino ; from 1909 and 5316; v AV – appear 3, give light 1; 4 1) to show to or upon ; 1a) to bring to light; 2) to appear,become visible; 2a) of stars; 3) to become clearly known, to show one’s self.

G2015 – epiphaneia ; from 2016; n f AV – appearing 5, brightness 1; 6 1) an appearing, appearance often used of the glorious manifestation of the gods, and esp. of their ad to help; in the NT the advent of Christ, — not only that which has already taken place and by which his presence and power appear in the saving light he has shed upon mankind, but also that illustrious return from heaven to earth to occur in the future.

G2016 – epiphanes; from 2014; adj AV – notable 1; 1 1) conspicuous, manifest, illustrious.

G2017 – epiphausko; a form of 2014; v AV – give light 1: 1) to shine upon 1a) Christ will pour upon you the divine truth as the sun gives light to men aroused from sleep.

G2015 is from G2016, which is from G2014; G2017 is also a form of G2014; thus, all three Greek words are traced back to 2014.

Although the Rapture is not explicitly referred to, there is intimation in some verses above. however, when we examine the Greek words G2015, G2016 and G2017, ALL point clearly to the coming of Jesus without exception.”

Although John would go on to mention his belief that the Rapture could very well take place in 2014, I still believe that there’s a Divine message here that is yet to be unlocked. Keep in mind that John wrote his article back in 2013, and God progressively reveals His prophetic gems. In this case, the Great Sign of Rev.12 was only dimly understood by a handful of watchers at that time, even though Scott Clarke first spotted it in his astronomy software in the summer of 2011. But now, with God’s revelation of the Rev.12 Sign, we can see His overall end times plan with much more clarity … hindsight is always “20/20”.

Interestingly enough, the message contained in Strong’s numbering system led to, and culminated with G2017 (A.D. 2017?), the year of the Great Sign of Rev.12. It’s my speculation that the 2014-15 Blood Moon Tetrad pointed directly to the Rev.12 Sign and the Feast of Trumpets in 2017 … the start of Daniel’s 70th Week.

Incredibly, and not coincidentally, there are 726 days from the final Blood Moon of the Tetrad on Sept.28, 2015 (The Feast of Tabernacles) to Sept.23, 2017 (The Rev.12 Sign)! Strong’s Concordance G726 – harpazo: to seize, catch up, snatch away. (our long-awaited “Rapture!)

The Sept.28th, 2015 Blood Moon was unique for a number of reasons, the least of which are it’s many names: Supermoon, Mega-Moon, Harvest Moon, and Sukkot Moon. It was the only one of the 2014-15 Tetrad to be seen in Jerusalem, Israel.

Gary, at Unsealed.org, noted another mind-boggling “coincidence”: September 23, 2017 had 726 minutes of daylight. In fact, it was the only day in all of 2017 with 726 minutes of daylight! Even more – the first day of the Feast of Trumpets on Sept. 21, 2017 had 730 minutes of daylight. Strong’s G730 is “arsen”, which is the very word used to describe the corporate male child in Rev.12:5 that will be “snatched” (G726 – harpazo) to God’s throne!

Could this 726 day count be alluding to the “Rapture Zone”, that is, that window of time in which the Rapture event will take place? And was the “Rapture Zone” officially announced or “trumpeted” by the Great Sign of Rev.12? The 2017-2024 Tribulation Timeline Theory postulates that window of time spanning from the 2017 Feast of Trumpets Sept. 21/22, 2017) through the 7th day of Passover (Unleavened Bread), April 3, 2021.

There are 1,260 days (inclusive) from sunset April 14, 2017, eve of the 1st Blood Moon of the 2014-15 Tetrad and the first day of Passover, to the completion of the Rev.12 Sign on Sept.24, 2017. Could this 1,260 day count be pointing to the time of “Great Tribulation”, the final 1,260 days of Daniel’s 70th Week?

So we see that the first and last Blood Moons of the Tetrad are very instrumental in both the 726 and 1,260 day counts. Interestingly enough, Virgo and Leo (the Lion), which comprise the Rev.12 Sign, are the first and last constellations in the Hebrew Mazzoroth (Zodiac). Jesus was of the tribe of Judah, which is why He has the title, “Lion of the tribe of Judah” (Rev.5:5).

Jesus is the First and the Last! Rev.22:13, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last”. It sure brings new meaning to the idiom “written in the stars”!
